Power output - 275bhp at 5,200 rpm, Fuel Consumption: Yes, Very much.

Engine size and type: Big honkin' Merkin V8, 5.7L (350 cubic inches for the Merkins) mounted longitudinally in the front, by Gawd... Iron block, aluminum heads, 10.5:1 Compression, one cam, in the block, with pushrods the way the Good Lord would have wanted it... 2 valves per cylinder, don't needs no more... Transmission: Borg-Warner T56 six speed. Centerforce Dual-Friction clutch. Rear diff: 3.42 rear gear ratio with limited slip. Four discs, funky 3-link style rear suspension with torque arm, not independent although it likes to have it's own way. 2.3 turns lock-to-lock, rack und pinion. Weight: 3400lbs or so. 255/50ZR16 Dunlops at all four corners. Hooker Headers Aero Chamber cat-back exhaust rounds out the package. Whew! (What on earth are "Hooker Headers" ? No, don't answer- Ed)
